PawKey (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides a digital pet identification and recovery service. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 User Information: Name, phone number, and email address provided during registration.
1.2 Location Data: We collect approximate location to create a "Safe Network" radius (10km). We only collect specific location points when you explicitly mark a pet as lost or update your home area. We do not track continuous GPS movement in the background.
1.3 Pet Information: Pet names, photos, breed, gender, and vaccination status.
1.4 Device Data: Device model, OS version, and crash logs for app stability.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To generate unique digital IDs for pets.
• To notify users within a 10km radius when a pet is reported missing.
• To manage your account and provide customer support.
• To prevent fraud and ensure community safety.

We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or third parties.

3. Data Storage & Security

Data is stored securely using Firebase (Google Cloud) services with industry-standard encryption. While we strive to protect your data, no transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

4. Data Sharing

We only share data with:

• Cloud Service Providers (e.g., Google/Firebase) necessary for app functionality.
• Law Enforcement, if legally required.
• The Community, but ONLY when you publicly mark a pet as lost (only your pet's info and last seen location are shared).

5. Your Rights & Deletion

You may request to update or delete your account and all associated data at any time via the app settings or by contacting help.pawkey@gmail.com.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
